Only one in five spot heart-shaped diamond in under thirty seconds in tricky brainteaser

Brainteasers and puzzles are great ways to exercise the mind and stretch one of the body’s most important muscles in the morning.

Each brainteaser is different and each one tests a different part of your brain.

This brainteaser by Chisholm Hunter asks you to find a heart-shaped diamond in a sea of other diamonds.

The question is whether you can find the missing diamond in under 30 seconds. According to the team behind the brainteaser, only one in five people can spot it in such as short amount of time.

Did you find the diamond? No worries if not, the answer is above in a black circle. The diamond was in the bottom left-hand corner amongst a flurry of other rubies and precious stones.

While brainteasers may seem like a brief distraction or a bit of fun on the morning commute, some experts have suggested mental exercises like this one could help you to live longer.

The brain is one of the most important muscles in the body and like each muscle, if it isn’t exercised and kept fit it is more likely to fail.

Continuously doing brain puzzles such as crosswords and sudokus keeps the brain sharper and could help to reduce your risk of developing a neurodegenerative condition.

This isn’t to say brainteasers alone will stop this from happening, other factors such as lifestyle can play a much bigger role, but continuously testing the brain by doing puzzles could help keep it fitter for longer.
