Omid Scobie turns against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for not pursuing 'racist royal'

Omid Scobie has criticised Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for not pursuing the ‘racist royal’.

In new book Endgame, the royal author has revealed intimate details about the Firm, including Prince William and Prince Harry’s damaged relationship, the Prince of Wales and King Charles’s rivalry, the monarch’s weird habits, and the alleged stance of the Royal Family towards Princess Kate.

One of the biggest revelations was that Meghan named two Royal Household members whom she alleges took part in “conversations” about Prince Archie’s skin colour before he was born.

While speaking on GMA3 in the US, Scobie expressed his frustration that Harry and Meghan did not continue to address the situation.

“I always wondered why Harry and Meghan didn’t continue that conversation on their Netflix series and in Spare,” he explained.

“I wanted to get to the bottom of that, to discover more on the letter exchanged between Meghan and Charles.

“Neither saw eye to eye but they shared queries and concerns on the conversations that happened.”

In the same interview, Scobie also said it was “a little upsetting” to discover that nothing had changed between Harry and brother Prince William after Spare.

He added: “I wanted this book to put names, faces and anecdotes to these events and to understand what goes on behind palace walls.”

According to the synopsis, Endgame is a self-proclaimed “investigation” into the current state of the British monarchy, comprising “an unpopular king, a power-hungry heir to the throne, a queen willing to go to dangerous lengths to preserve her image, and a prince forced to start a new life after being betrayed by his own family.”

Scobie has maintained that the Sussexes did not help with his new book, and previously said he doesn’t get credit for the “great reporting” he does from his sources.

But he didn’t deny that they included briefings from the Duke and Duchess of Sussexes team.

Speaking to The Standard, he said: “I’m very tired of the ‘Meg’s pal’ stuff,” says the much gossiped about royal writer Omid Scobie, as we discuss his new book Endgame.

“I feel like it’s a force that I can’t even stop… no matter how many times I explain that I’m not her friend… there’s always going to be a million people still calling me ‘Meg’s pal’.”

The royal author seems to be contradicting himself as he’s previously spoken about how the Duchess of Sussex called him in person before he published his previous book Finding Freedom.

A lot of questions have been raised as to where Scobie got some of his private information from.

Scobie, who has been branded the Sussexe’s “mouthpiece” or “cheerleader”, insisted he didn’t get his facts from Harry and Meghan.

His argument is that “there are enough people around them and in their orbit who know the ins and outs of things.”
