Omid Scobie interview bombshells and knowing two royals behind Archie skin colour comments

Omid Scobie has been dropping some huge bombshells in new book Endgame – and in an explosive interview on US TV.

The royal author, who has released a self-proclaimed “investigation” into the current state of the British monarchy, has been revealing feuds and crises within the Firm.

While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not “affiliated” with the new book and have distance themselves, Scobie has been their unofficial biographer in the past and they helped with his first one, Finding Freedom.

According to the Endgame synopsis, the royal comprise of “an unpopular king, a power-hungry heir to the throne, a queen willing to go to dangerous lengths to preserve her image, and a prince forced to start a new life after being betrayed by his own family.”

In a new interview with Good Morning America on Tuesday morning, Scobie claimed we have a reached a “pinnacle moment” where the Royal Family is “at stake”.

Among some of his claims, one of the biggest was that two royals questioned what colour skin Prince Archie would have before he was born.

“I do know who made the comments about Archie’s skin colour,” he explained on the ABC show.

“The names were mentioned in letters between Meghan and Charles that were exchanged some time after the Oprah interview.”

Scobie added that Charles felt “horrified” after hearing Meghan bring up the ‘royal racist row’ during her explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2001.

The royal author added: “We know from sources that Charles was horrified that that’s how Meghan felt. Those conversations were, and that he wanted to, sort of as a representative for the family, have that conversation with her.”

“And it is why I personally think they have been able to move forward with some kind of line of communication afterwards. Though they may not see eye to eye on it.”

Scobie said UK law prevented him from revealing the identity of the two individuals, but he did not hold back elsewhere in the interview.

He claimed Prince William had been “leaking” stories about Prince Harry by briefing the media.

Scobie said: “He’s sharing private information about his brother that ended up on the front page of a newspaper not long later. These are things that have cause irreparable damage in the relations between each other.”

Describing William as a “company man”, he added: “We have seen the emergence of a man who is much harder, who seems to have embraced and embodied the royal institution.”

One of the bombshells from the book is that Harry wants to rebuild bridges, and Scobie claims he is in communication with King Charles.

“There is a steady open line of communication between the two, where they are able to talk with each other,” explained Scobie.

“Where Harry, I would say, clearly understands that his father probably isn’t the most emotional or open person.”

The royal author then got personal, explaining that he felt in the middle of a family drama and that Meghan actually reached out to check if he was ok.

Scobie added: “I think before people assume that I’m calling this the end of the Royal Family, I’m simply declaring that we’ve reached a sort of pinnacle moment where the royal family as we know it, is at stake.’
