The broadcasting regulator Ofcom has announced it has opened an official investigation into David Lammy, who was recently accused of breaching rules with his LBC show.
Taking to Twitter this morning, Ofcom confirmed: “We’ve launched an investigation into David Lammy on LBC, broadcast on 29 March”.
“We’re investigating whether this programme broke our rules on politicians acting as news presenters.”
The announcement comes after Ofcom came under fire over accusations of political bias for chastising MP presenters on GB News.
