Obama is 'running the White House' as 'puppet' Biden accused of pushing his woke agenda

American doctor Carole Lieberman has reignited a conspiracy theory that Joe Biden is taking directions from former president Barack Obama as he secretly runs the White House from behind the scenes.

It came when GB News presenter Mark Dolan asked her this evening: “Why does it matter if he [Biden] is a bit wobbly if he has good people around him?” on Friday afternoon.

To which Dr Lieberman responded: “But he doesn’t. It’s Obama that is running the White House and Biden is the puppet so the weaker he is, the more dementia he has, the easier it is for the people behind him to control what’s going on. And that is really bad.”

It has been questioned whether President Biden, who earlier this week announced that he is going to run for re-election, is too old for another term in office.

More Democrats seem to agree rather than disagree with that assessment, a new poll shows. Nearly seven in 10 registered voters, 68 per cent say the 80-year-old president is “too old for another term”, according to a Yahoo News/YouGov poll released on Wednesday.

Among Democrats, 48 per cent agreed that Biden’s advanced age is a problem — more than the 34 per cent of Democrats who disagreed with that belief.

18 per cent of Democrats polled were not sure if Biden was too old for another term.

And it is not the first time someone has claimed that Obama is the one really running the show.

Fox News host Maria Bartiromo discussed a conspiracy theory on air back in 2021 that he was taking directions from the former president.

The pro-Trump anchor made the claims during a segment about Mr Biden’s presidential legacy.

Conservative commentator and Turning Point USA founder, Charlie Kick, said Mr Biden appeared determined to prove to Mr Obama he “could do what you couldn’t do when it comes to pandering to the liberal base and implementing progressive policy”.

“Ah!” Ms Bartiromo replied. “That’s what it is. I know he’s on the phone all the time with Obama and I’m hearing that he’s running things from behind the scenes,” she said.

Already the oldest president in US history, Biden would be 86 by the end of his second term if he were to win re-election in 2024.

A majority of independents, 71 pe cent, also said that age 82 was too old to start a second term as president, which is how old Biden would be on his second Inauguration Day.

19 years his junior, Lieberman believes that it is likely that Obama has been supporting Biden with his presidential duties throughout his time in office.

She added: “The policies and ideas that Obama had and still has, have been the things that somehow Biden is being made to promote – the leftist ideas, all kinds of hiring of trans people and the woke agenda, let’s put it that way.

“If he were elected again, he wouldn’t make all four of the years. This is another aspect which is really scary.”

The dynamic between the Biden-Obama bromance was a long-running topic of speculation during the 2020 presidential campaign.

There was reportedly deep hurt in the Biden camp over Mr Obama’s embrace of Hillary Clinton as his successor and a sense of pride driving Mr Biden to prove he was underestimated, according to Politico magazine investigation “What Obama Really Thought about Biden”.

As Obama reportedly warned of Biden during the presidential primaries: “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f**k things up,” according to Independent.co.uk.

Speaking to one 2020 Candidate, he reportedly said: “And you know who really doesn’t have it? Joe Biden.”

It also made the headlines when Biden added so many former White House staffers to his own cabinet that the Associated Press asked if it was an “Obama reunion?”.

The most high-profile comebacks included former Secretary of State John Kerry serving as special envoy on climate, and Kerry’s Obama-era deputy Antony Blinken to lead the State Department.
