Novak Djokovic screams 'shut the f*** up' at Australian Open spectator as anger boils over

Novak Djokovic lost his temper in the second set of his Australian Open first-round match against Dino Prizmic. With the 24-time Grand Slam champion against the ropes, he bellowed for the crowd to ‘shut the f*** up’ after a noise was heard during a vital point in the tiebreak.

Prizmic, who only turned 18 in August, was widely expected to be taken apart by Djokovic on his favoured hunting ground. The Croatian youngster came through three rounds of qualifying to earn his spot in the Australian Open main draw.

Things went according to script in the first set, with Djokovic streaking away to take it 6-2. But Prizmic hung in there in the second, taking it all the way to a tiebreak and coming out on top to level up the scores.

At 2-2 in the tiebreak, Djokovic lost a vital point after a noise was heard in the crowd just before his serve. Visibly fuming that it occurred during such an important moment in the match, the 36-year-old could clearly be seen shouting “Shut the f*** up!”
