Nottingham incident: Armed police spotted entering house where victims were stabbed

Armed police have been spotted leaving an address on Ilkeston Road in Nottingham. The city centre has been shrouded in cordons today after three people were killed, and three others in hospital following a horrific van rampage. It happened in the early hours of this morning – with police arresting a man, 31, on suspicion of murder. A series of incidents, including a body being discovered at a house, are linked, police say.

A large police cordon is in place on the street as the authorities begin probing. A large police presence can be expected throughout the day as forensics and officials piece together their investigation.

Officers were then called to Milton Street, just over a mile away, where a van had attempted to run over three people. Soon after, a third person was found dead on Magdala Road.

According to NottinghamshireLive, police have also put a fresh cordon in place in Arundel Street, off Ilkeston Road, with a white Toyota Yaris was taped off.

The suspect remains in police custody.
