Nigel Farage promises to drop 'truly astonishing' revelations over bank row on GB News

Nigel Farage has promised to unleash a “truly astonishing” bombshell on GB News this evening.

The TV personality has been engaged in a row with his banking group, Coutts, after he claimed they closed his account.

Mr Farage also claimed he attempted to open accounts with seven other banking groups, but was refused.

Sources close to Coutts told the BBC that the former MEP fell below the wealth threshold.

They claimed he was subsequently offered a standard account at Natwest, which owns Coutts.

People familiar with Coutts said it was a “commercial” decision.

But writing on Twitter, Mr Farage pledged to tell the whole story, saying: “I will be revealing the #CouttsFiles at 5pm this evening.”

He added: “The contents are truly astonishing and reveal the real reasons for closing my bank accounts.”
