Nigel Farage outlines 'most conclusive proof yet' of UK 'diversity disaster' in shock poll

Nigel Farage issued a warning after a shock poll found just one in four British Muslims believe that Hamas committed murder and rape in the October 7 attack on Israel.

The survey on the six-month anniversary of the massacre found that 46% of British Muslims said they sympathise with the terror group.

Some 52% want it to be illegal to show an image of the Prophet Mohammed in the UK, while 32% want Sharia law implemented.

Reacting to the findings, Mr Farage wrote on X: “This polling is the most conclusive proof yet that both Labour and the Tories have allowed into our country huge numbers of people who live apart from the rest of us.

“Diversity, in this context, is a disaster.”

The poll of 1,000 British Muslims was carried out by JL Partners for the Henry Jackson Society (HJS) think tank.

Alan Mendoza, the executive director of HJS, said the findings show “the failure of counter-extremism policy over the years”.

He added: “What is probably going wrong is an unwillingness to tackle this kind of extremism for fear of being labelled Islamophobic or racist.

“There is a reluctance to call it out in the same way that people are very happy to call out far-Right extremism.

“The Government needs to find a way of supporting and strengthening the voice of moderate Muslims and drive the extremist narrative to the sidelines.”

The poll found 24% of British Muslims said they believe Hamas committed murder and rape in Israel on October 7, compared to 62% of the general public.

It also found that 46% of British Muslims said Jews have too much power over UK government policy.
