A ‘serious incident’ has been declared in a UK town after a huge explosion saw homes evacuated.
Rest centres have been set up in New Mills, Derbyshire, after the blast earlier today (Tuesday, November 14).
An air ambulance has landed nearby with as many as 12 homes evacuated so far.
Residents have been told to “stay away” and keep all their windows and doors shut.
A picture from the scene shows a huge emergency response with firefighters and paramedics.
