Mum returns from B&M shopping trip to find disgusting sticker on her car

A young mum felt targeted when a vile sticker was left on her car window after she visited B&M. She had been shopping for Christmas decorations at the store in Tebay Retail Park, Bromborough, and found the sticker upon her return to the car.

The professionally-made sticker said: “Not disabled, just a c***”. However, the mum was parked in a parent-and-child space, not a disabled bay.

Sister-in-law Stephanie Fitzpatrick told the Liverpool Echo: “If this person feels it is appropriate to watch someone get out of their car and apply a sticker with such vulgar language on a child’s car then they need to have their head examined.

“Disabilities aren’t always visible, but even so, she was in a parent-and-child space. People around her think it’s disgusting.

“The manager at B&M confirmed she was in a parent and child bay and told her ‘don’t let it ruin your day’.

“No one has the right to call out any disability or call anyone such disgusting language.”

After being unable to remove it, the mum was forced to drive home with the sticker on her window and “her child looking at it”.

The mum, whose children are aged two and 14 weeks, called the sticker “pathetic”, saying she’s parked in the space before and had nothing like it happen.

She is extremely upset and feels “targeted and watched”.

Her sister-in-law Stephanie said they wanted to spread awareness so those leaving the stickers on cars don’t get away with it.

They posted about the incident on Facebook in the hope of finding the culprit.

Stephanie added: “It has put her off shopping there now and I’m sure it has put others off too.”
