Their second update celebrated that “CHRISTMAS ISN’T RUINED!”, adding their mistake had “turned into a Christmas miracle”.
They said that one of their sisters had a different father who died “shortly after she was born”, leaving the mother reliant on a “good friend” to help raise her.
The friend later turned out to be the original poster’s father, and he fell in love with their mother.
After helping her through “the darkest time in her life”, the couple created the “rest of our family”.
