Mother-of-two school secretary is accused of raping 11-YEAR-OLD boy outside his school

According to the boy he “snuck out of his house on at least 14 occasions” during the night to meet Cranick.

Police added that Cranick turned herself in to the authorities on Tuesday before appearing at Rockville Court.

An arrest warrant showed how the victim told cops he and Cranick communicated on iMessage and SnapChat, before police managed to secure hundreds of flirtatious and sexual text messages between the pair.

NBC Connecticut reported that Cranick also made the boy a sick bracelet that read BFFLWB – which stands for Best Friends for Life With Benefits.

The boy said during their overnight encounters, Cranick would wait for him by “hiding behind a bush on a neighbor’s property- or walking up to his house”.

The former school employee was quizzed by cops and claimed she did not initiate sexual contact with the minor.

She allegedly “downplayed any inappropriate reasoning for communicating”.

Cranick added she only comforted the child due to concerns he had about family issues.

Cranick was reportedly a paraprofessional in the Columbia school district and most recently served as an administrative assistant at E.O. Smith High School in Mansfield.

As a result of an internal investigation, Cranick was sacked from the post.

In a statement released by the Columbia School District, Interim Superintendent Barabara Wilson said: “It is with great regret that I must share this information with you today. As educators, we are entrusted to protect and educate all of our students.

“Maintaining appropriate faculty-student relationships and providing for the safety and wellbeing of our students at all times are critical.”
