The moment a drone was spotted flying over a house in Moscow was caught on camera. In the brief clip shared on Telegram, the man showed the unmanned vehicle passing over his home. Pointing at it, he said – as translated by journalist Max Seddon: “It’s flying right over our house, bruh! Right f*****g at me!”
The man wasn’t the only one to share on social media videos showing drones apaprently flying over Moscow in the early hours of Tuesday (May 30).
Another video showed an unmanned vehicle bursting into a ball of flame after being hit and shot down.
A third video portrayed a large column of smoke rising from the ground a few hundred metres away from where the person filming was.
Finally, another video showed the Russian air defence at work, with a missile being launched from the ground to intercept the aerial drone.
These videos came as several parts of Moscow allegedly became the target of a drone attack.
While local reports claimed as many as 32 drones flew over the Russian capital, the country’s Defence Ministry issued a strongly-worded statement saying the “terrorist” attack had involved eight unmanned vehicles – all shot down.
The statement read: “This morning, the Kyiv regime launched a terrorist attack with unmanned aerial vehicles on facilities in the city of Moscow.
“Eight aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were involved in the attack. All enemy drones were hit.”

Ukraine hasn’t claimed responsibility for this attack nor for any other behind Russian lines.
Earlier this month, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said his country would never launch an attack on Russia outside of its own border.
He said during a press conference: “We don’t attack Russian territory, we liberate our own legitimate territory.”
A few days prior, Russia had alleged Kyiv had launched an assassination attempt against Vladimir Putin – an accusation strongly dismissed by Mr Zelensky.
The suspected drone attack interested a number of wealthy areas in Moscow, including the elite district of Rublyovka.
Blocks of flats in Leninisky Prospekt and Profsoyuznaya Street, near the centre of the capital, were reportedly damaged. A clip shows smoke rising from a tall building, with a burning glow visible from two of the windows.
Moscow’s mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on Telegram earlier on Tuesday the alleged attack had caused “insignificant damage” and that hadn’t left anyone “seriously hurt”.
In the wake of the alleged attack, the Russian Ruble fell drastically against the US Dollar.
