Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has released a gripping video showcasing a reservist killing two Hamas operatives within an apartment in Gaza City’s Shejaiya neighborhood.
The brave troop, from the Yahalom unit of the Combat Engineering Corps, is wearing a helmet camera. He engages in a brief firefight with the first Hamas gunman before facing a grenade attack – which he miraculously survives.
Despite sustaining injuries, the soldier rises, confronting and neutralizing the second operative at point-blank range.
Since the evening of October 27 this year, the IDF has been in Gaza Strip as part of a large-scale ground invasion.
The objective of the invasion is to dismantle Hamas and oust the organization’s control over the Gaza Strip.
Gaza Health Ministry figures report a minimum of 17,487 Palestinian casualties since then. In contrast, Israeli tallies indicate that 1,200 individuals lost their lives during the Hamas incursion into Israel.
