A shocking clip has caught the moment a man appears to punch a teenage boy in the face after a foul mouthed rant. The attack is said to have taken place at Borough Green, in Kent, and has left those who’ve seen it absolutely horrified by the older male’s alleged attack on what looks to be a teenager.
The footage was posted to social media platform X – formerly known as Twitter – by an account called London & UK Street News. The video was captioned with the post “happened on a train in borough green Kent last week” and has been seen more than 80,000 times and had hundreds of retweets and comments.
In the footage that looks to have been caught on camera phone the man who is standing in the aisle of the train in a dark suit and white top confronts the younger lad who is sitting down. In the clip the man says: “I don’t give a f***k about any of ‘ya.”
The young lad can be heard saying “alright then” before the older man says “alright? Well f*** off then”.
What follows is a muffled exchange between the pair that seems to involve the older man accusing the younger boy of throwing something. The man whacks the younger male saying “I’ll f*****g smack you boy,” who is thrown sideways by the blow.
The lad then says: “I ain’t thrown nothing mate.” The man point in his face aggressively and says “do not f***k about with me.”
Fellow users of the social media platform piled in to express their shock at the attack. One said: “He is an angry man. Get him arrested now.”
“Horrible bully,” said a fellow X user. “He’s not doing that to my kid, brother, cousin or friend,” said another.
A spokesman for British Transport Police told Express.co.uk: “Officers are aware of a video showing an assault on board a train reportedly in the Borough Green area.
“Enquiries into this incident are ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 290 of 18 December 2023.”
