Moment Britain's worst shoplifter, banned from every store in UK, caught thieving AGAIN

This is the moment when one of Britain’s worst shoplifters was caught stealing four bottles of “knock-off Baileys” as part of a crime spree in which they stole hundreds of pounds worth of booze and hair straighteners.

CCTV footage captures the audacious act of Scott McSpadden, 39, boldly entering the supermarket and placing four bottles of the booze into a shopping bag just a few feet from the entrance.

Subsequently, Tanya Momot, 31, opens the doors from the outside, facilitating his quick exit.

McSpadden swiftly entered an Aldi branch while his girlfriend, Momot, kept watch outside. Inside, McSpadden grabbed four bottles of Irish Country Cream Liqueur with a total value of £19.96, reported Mail Online.

The footage captured within the Wisbech store in Cambridgeshire reveals McSpadden entering with a sidelong glance, while Momot lingers outside, peering in.

A staff member subsequently pursues them, but their efforts prove unsuccessful.

On the next day, the duo entered B&M at the nearby Cromwell Retail Park, where they filled carrier bags with nine Elle hair straighteners, ten Elle heated hairbrush sets, and eight fruity bath fizzers, totaling £197.71.

Their activities were disrupted by a vigilant staff member, prompting them to hastily flee the store. Notably, both individuals have a combined history of 120 criminal offenses and are currently under Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBOs).

The couple – McSpadden and Momot – who are already banned from entering shops together – have convictions for more than 60 thefts between them and have now been jailed again.

Previously, McSpadden was sought for stealing 15 packs of cheese from an Aldi branch. Earlier this year, the couple was imprisoned for swiftly pilfering three Ted Baker sets and one Soap and Glory set, valued at £52.50, from Boots in Wisbech.

Momot faces a ban from entering the pedestrianized area of the Horsefair Shopping Centre in Wisbech until June 6, while McSpadden is prohibited from both the Horsefair Shopping Centre and entering any shopping store simultaneously with Momot until September 19, 2025.

Following their arrest on December 18, the duo appeared at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court. McSpadden, with no fixed address, received a 28-week jail term after admitting two counts of theft from a shop and breaching a CBO.
