A holidaymaker who failed to board a flight back to the UK with his friend has been found dead in Lanzarote. Robert Campbell had been enjoyed his first ever overseas holiday when he vanished, shortly before being due to fly home.
The 44-year-old became unwell and was taken to hospital before the flight last Thursday. But after doctors examined him he was judged to be well enough to catch the plane.
