Met Office weather warning: UK facing imminent 16-hour storm deluge with more flood alerts

The Met Office has issued 16-hour weather warnings as Britain is expected to be battered by rain days after Storm Babet caused deadly floods.

More flood and rain alerts have now been put in place from 6pm today (Tuesday, October 24) until 10am tomorrow.

This comes after Storm Babet claimed seven lives last week, as heavy downpours saw towns evacuated and left underwater in devastating floods.
