Met Office issues new 20-hour weather warning hours after Storm Isha barrels into UK


The Met Office has issued a new 20-hour weather warning which will come into effect just hours after Storm Isha is set to hammer into Britain.

The forecaster has issued a yellow alert for a number of UK regions between Tuesday, January 23 at 4pm and 12 noon the following day.

The warnings have been issued for 11 regions, including Highlands and Eilean Siar, Northern Ireland, Yorkshire and Humber, Dumfries, Galloway, Lothian and Borders, North East England, Grampian, the East Midlands, Central, Tayside and Fife, Strathclyde, Orkney and Shetland and North West England.
