Local, state and federal agencies are all involved in the hunt for Christian.

Christian is also linked to another shooting on the same day that tragically ended a woman’s life on Warrington Road near Clearbrook Street. She was declared dead at the scene.

Memphis has been rocked by several shootings this month in separate and unrelated incidents. One such incident involved St. Jude researcher, Alexander Bulakhov, who was fatally shot in downtown Memphis. The 32 year old was found by police with a gunshot wound and later died in hospital.

Two suspects, Marious Ward, 23, and Brandy Rucker, 22, were arrested by Memphis police within a day of the incident. They have been charged with first-degree murder in connection with Bulakhov’s death.

Court documents claim that Bulakhov was out for a walk with his wife and toddler when he was confronted by Ward, who was armed.

Despite handing over his wallet, Bulakhov was shot during a struggle with Ward, who then fled the scene in a white Toyota Camry.

St. Jude expressed their sorrow over the loss, stating: “We are deeply saddened by the loss of a valued member of the St. Jude community,” and “Our thoughts are with Alexander’s family and we are working to support them during this difficult time.”
