Meghan Markle’s former co-star on the popular series Suits has come clean over a “foul” smell at the royal wedding after a picture of him pulling a funny face went viral.
Actor Rick Hoffman finally revealed the reason for his viral facial expression at the Duke and Duchess’s wedding at Windsor Castle in May 2018.
Hoffman, who played eccentric lawyer Louis Litt alongside Meghan in Suits, was a guest at the exclsuive wedding.
This week, the 53-year-old actor was a guest on the ‘Chicks in the Office’ podcast and discussed the royal ceremony and viral picture.
Hoffman, looking suited and booted in tie and tails, was caught by photographers pulling what he called an “awful face”.

“So I’m like, ‘Do you guys smell that?’ And they’re like, ‘No.’ So now I’m, like, literally by myself and I’m just going, ‘Mother …'” Hoffman said, adding: “And that’s what they got [on camera].”
He then mentioned that Meghan, who was Rachel Zane in the show ‘Suits’, always knew Rick Hoffman didn’t like it when people weren’t clean.
“Guess who knew that the most in the cast that I had an issue with other people’s hygiene? Meghan! Always knew and would always laugh about how I was so sensitive,” he said.
Meghan retired from Suits, which aired for nine seasons between 2011-2019, when she got engaged to Prince Harry.
