Meghan Markle's new brand launch slammed after fans spot 'labels peeling off jam'

Eagle-eyed fans spotted Meghan Markle’s homemade jam labels were peeling off the glass jar as they criticised her new launch.

The Duchess of Sussex recently gifted strawberry jam to close friends, such as Delfina Blaquier and fashion designer Tracy Robbins, who proudly showcased their culinary delights on Instagram.

Royal observers observed that the labels bore a resemblance to Meghan’s distinctive handwriting, a skill she honed as a dedicated calligrapher in her earlier years.

However, others pointed out apparent issues with the labels, noting signs of peeling.

One social media user wrote on X: “Anybody notice the label on the promo jams Meghan Markle is sending to ‘friends’ is literally peeling off? Not a good start.”

“Remember, Meghan is a sustainable girly.

“The label probably isn’t stuck firmly on to allow people to peel it off easily and reuse the jar for other things – maybe their own homemade batch of jam… from a cookbook.”

Meghan’s venture into homemade jam may bear a subtle nod to her father-in-law, King Charles III, who paved the way for royal product ventures by introducing goods from the Duchy of Cornwall estate in the 1990s, including his own line of jam.
