Meghan Markle's former Suits co-star says comeback will be 'question of money'

Meghan Markle’s former Suits co-star has been speaking about what it will take for a comeback to happen.

Gabriel Macht, who played the role of Harvey Reginald Specter on the show, discussed a potential return to the legal drama.

Speaking on the red carpet at Sunday night’s Golden Globes, Macht was asked how much money he thought it would take to bring Meghan back.

Swerving the Duchess of Sussex completely, the actor told The Mirror: “I think the question is how much money would it take to bring me back…”

In Suits, Gabriel’s character was forced to go head to head with Robert Zane, who was father of Meghan’s character Rachel.

But they stopped being co-star when Meghan retired from acting to go and marry Prince Harry.

There was a mini Suits reunion on stage at the Golden Globes as Macht and Patrick J. Adams presented an award.

When asked if Meghan would appear in any Suits projects, Adams said: “Sure. Mike and Rachel in Seattle. They gotta come down to L.A., they gotta fix some stuff.”

When he claimed the Duchess is “pretty popular right now”, ET interviewer Rachel Smith jokingly replied: “I don’t know why?”

Going along with the joke, Macht then asked who they were talking about.

Adams responed: “Did you hear about Meghan? I’ll tell you later. There’s been a lot of stuff going on.”

The Sussexes are now exploring new job opportunities and there is speculation that Meghan will return to the role of Rachel Zane at some stage.
