Meghan Markle's ex-pal urges King Charles to 'intervene and stop any memoirs' after parody

“Enough now of their moaning and whinging.

“It’s so bad now that we’re a laughing stock across the pond making cartoon features of the couple – it’s time for this to stop.”

Cundy also appealed to her former friend not to write any memoirs, saying: “Meghan, put the pen down, the Royal Family can’t take it anymore and the British public has had enough.

“The Royals can’t take another cartoon series of them being mocked. Please, for once, put the pen down.”

Royal Family commentator Kinsey Schofield has responded to the brutal takedown in the Family Guy episode by saying Meghan and Harry “have become a parody in the US”.

Top celebrity blogger and columnist Perez Hilton said the couple are no longer regarded as royals in America, comparing them to the Kardashians as they are “famous because of their names, but they haven’t really done much of note yet”.

The latest episode of Family Guy, which aired on Sunday, poked fun at the multi-million-pound deal with Netflix they signed after quitting their roles as working members of the Royal Family and relocating to the US in early 2020.

Earlier this year, an episode of South Park took a swipe at the couple’s quest for privacy and mocked them for demanding that privacy yet simultaneously seeking out press attention.
