Meghan Markle tipped to be next Oprah with daytime talk show in major US move

He told Fox News Digital: “If Meghan doesn’t end up hosting a daytime syndicated talk show, I’ll be surprised.

“She certainly seems well-suited to that role in particular, and I can easily see her pursuing a career path similar to Oprah’s in the media: a show, a magazine, producing, directing — the works.

“She still has a sizeable chunk of the viewing public in her corner.”

Mr Andersen added: “Once all the controversy surrounding the Sussexes’ ongoing feud with the rest of the Royal Family dies down, assuming it ever does, I could easily see her launching a successful talk show.

It has also been reported that Harry and Meghan have been a highly coveted prospect for Hollywood agencies since they moved their lives to California in 2020.

As Meghan looks to the next stage of her brand-building ambitions, she will have the help of Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel, plus Brad Slater and Jill Smoller, who represent Serena Williams.

Royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital that Meghan may struggle to sell herself to potential partners if she distances herself too much from the Royal Family brand.

She said: “What does sell? Anything royal. So what we can bank on is that connection being leveraged in some manner.”

Harry and Meghan have been in the spotlight more recently as the Royal Family prepares for the Coronation of King Charles.

While the Duke will be attending his father’s big day, Meghan has decided to stay in California with the children. Prince Archie Harrison’s birthday falls on the same day as the King’s Coronation.

One royal source told the Telegraph that Harry will be there because “it is about showing up, showing support and being there for his father.”

The newspaper adds that The Duke and Duchess are understood to have been warned that Meghan’s presence at the Coronation would have been controversial.
