Meghan Markle sparks royal fan frenzy after cheeky hidden tribute to Prince Harry

Meghan Markle left royal fans in awe after she paid tribute to her husband Prince Harry in a cheeky way when she joined him at the polo last week.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, looked glamorous in a cutout ivory dress as she attended the Royal Salute Polo Challenge to benefit Prince Harry’s charity, Sentebale on Friday.

Some royal fans have gone the extra mile and concluded that the choice of her outfit was a shoutout to the Duke of Sussex’s hair colour. The halter-neck design is from Heidi Merrick, retailing for $515 (£413) – and it is aptly named the ‘Ginger’ dress.

Meghan completed her look with Aquazzura heels, vintage Chanel jewellery and a Valentino purse. The dress sold out online within minutes of it being worn by the Duchess, sparking a royal fan frenzy.

One said: “Beautiful and Powerful Meghan.”

A second added: “Full of style and grace.” A third chimed in: “Timeless Meghan.”

At the polo event, the couple showed affectionate gestures, with Meghan giving her husband a kiss as she handed him the winners’ trophy.

Before the fundraising match, the couple was seen happily walking hand in hand, followed by a film crew.

The duke led the Royal Salute Sentebale Team against the Grand Champions Team and won. Meghan gave him the trophy, and they shared a kiss in front of everyone.

Yet, in a video that surfaced later, Meghan seemed to ask a woman in a white dress to stand away from Harry for the photo.

The duke kept his arm around Meghan as she talked to the woman, indicating that she should move away from him for the picture.

The awkward exchange lasted for several moments as everybody else shuffled around them, and then as Meghan insisted on standing beside her husband, the woman was forced to duck under the trophy to find her spot on stage, with her then saying something to the Duchess.

Commenting on the blunder, one person penned on X: “They are both so awkward.” While a second said: “This is just so cringeworthy!!”

After attending the polo event, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stayed at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel in Palm Beach, where suites can cost over £6,000 per night.

On Saturday, April 13, the couple was seen strolling through the hotel’s pool area.

Meghan, a mother of two, wore white capri pants and a black top, while Harry opted for a casual look with a black tee, blue chinos, and sneakers.
