Meghan Markle is rumoured to have set up shop in a Los Angeles hotel suite close to her new agency as she plans to become a “Hollywood power player”, according to a source.
Meghan and Prince Harry have been living at their mansion in Montecito since 2020, where they are raising their young family, however some have suggested that the couple may start following different paths professionally.
Showbiz correspondent Kinsey Schofield said on GB News: “One of the rumours is that Meghan has set up shop in a hotel suite across from her agency William Morris Endeavour and that she has her eyes set on bigger opportunities.
“She wants to be a power player in Hollywood and that this is not the direction that Harry has any desire to go.”
This comes weeks after the couple’s deal with Spotify came to an end, while questions have been raised over whether their contract with Netflix will be renewed.

In April Meghan signed with William Morris Endeavour (WME), which has represented celebrities including Adele, Dwayne Johnson and her pal Serena Williams.
WME’s website claims: “We provide our clients and partners with global access and insights into every facet of entertainment and sports. Across our company, we represent top artists, creators and leaders in every category.”
However she has yet to annnounce any new projects in the pipeline, while some believe that Harry is less happy with the LA lifestyle and may return to his charity work in Africa.
Other royal sources have claimed that the Duke is desperate to return to the UK and his family, while Meghan has no desire to do so.
Author Tom Bower told OK! Magazine that Prince William and Princess Kate would not be able to “forgive” Harry as he has caused “too much damage”.
He said: “I think Meghan would’ve been horrified by Harry’s suggestion. She’s not close to William and Kate, and in my opinion, London was just a stepping stone for her.
“I would imagine the last thing she’d want to do is return to England to live in a small, poky flat in Kensington Palace.”
He continued: “I don’t think there’s a place for Harry here. I believe he’s not wanted in Britain.
“He’s lost so many friendships here. I can imagine he’s feeling lonely and frustrated, and probably regretting that he doesn’t have a relationship with his family too. But I think he’s burned too many bridges and dug himself a hole. It’s going to be very hard for him to get out of it.”
