Meghan Markle set for shock UK return with Prince Harry despite Duchess being against move


Meghan Markle could make a sensational UK return with her family later this year, a source has claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex has not set foot in Britain since the late Queen Elizabeth’s funeral in September 2022 and numerous reports have emerged that Meghan vowed she would “never step foot in England again”.

But now a source has come out and said that Meghan will join her husband Prince Harry in May and come back to the UK to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, in London.

The insider told OK!: “Harry is very keen for his entire family to join him. It’s important for him that they show a united front and focus on building bridges with the rest of the royal family.”

They added: “The move to bring the Invictus Games back to Britain is seen as an opportunity for Harry and he is very keen to take it. He is adamant that he wants Meghan and the children to join him, but I think she may be apprehensive and I think she finds being in the UK very uncomfortable.”

The source claimed that the duke is currently in “Government-level talks” to return home for the service marking the charity’s tenth year, which will take place at St Paul’s Cathedral.

It is said that Harry very much hopes this trip will include Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The source continued: “The move to bring the Invictus Games back to Britain is seen as an opportunity for Harry and he is very keen to take it.”

They added Harry is “adamant” he wants Meghan and his children with him, however the Duchess appears “apprehensive” as she finds being in the UK “very uncomfortable”.
