Meghan Markle appears to have drifted away from several of her closest friends in Hollywood – including actor George Clooney, it has been reported.
Clooney and his wife Amal were said to be close to Meghan, who visited them at their homes in Oxfordshire and LA around the time of her and Prince Harry’s Windsor wedding, which the Hollywood star couple attended.
Now, members of the group are no longer “bosom buddies” a source told the Mail on Sunday. George Clooney and Amal even appeared at the Prince’s Trust Awards in May – an organisation created by King Charles.

Singer Katie Perry and her fiancé Orlando Bloom are Meghan and Harry’s neighbours in Montecito. They were reportedly close to the Duke and Duchess.
“Katy was close at one point but she has been travelling a lot so it’s been hard to sustain a close friendship,” an LA source told the Mail.
David and Victoria Beckham were guests at Meghan’s wedding in 2018 and were believed to be some of her closest friends.
However, that favour was not returned with Meghan and Harry notably absent at the wedding of the Beckhams’ son Brooklyn to Nicola Peltz in April of last year.
Sources have claimed that there were suspicions in the Sussex camp that the Beckhams had leaked stories about the Royal couple. The accusation reportedly left David furious.
Still, the Duchess is said to remain friends with US TV personalities Oprah and Gale King with rumours that King hopes to do a big TV interview with Meghan.
That connection is sure to benefit the Duchess as she makes her way in Hollywood after she and Harry split from the Royal Family in 2020.
