Meghan Markle inspired to make sweet gesture after seeing blockbuster Barbie film

Meghan Markle was reportedly inspired to make one sweet gesture after watching the new Barbie film with a group of friends.

Despite celebrating her 42nd birthday with a dinner date with Prince Harry, Meghan took a trip to see the new film earlier in the week.

The movie, which centres on the iconic doll living in Barbie Land, stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken.

Meghan reportedly took the trip with a group of female friends, including Ellen Degeneres’ wife Portia De Rossi.

After the movie, the friend group headed to the San Ysidro Ranch hotel, where they carried on their night.

An insider told Page Six that Meghan and her friends then spotted a bachelorette party.

At this moment, Meghan reportedly took it upon herself to go up to the group, with the insider stating that “Meghan went over to wish the bride good luck”.

Noticing who she was, Meghan also reportedly posed for pictures with the bridal party.

For her pre-birthday dinner, Meghan and Harry ventured out to the fashionable Italian restaurant Tre Lune on Wednesday evening.

With the Kardashians among regular guests at the restaurant, it is a well-known celebrity hotspot.

For the special occasion, the Duchess of Sussex donned a classic strapless monochrome number, paired with a Cult Gaia bag.

The latest outing comes after recent suggestions that Harry and Meghan are experiencing difficulties in their five-year marriage, with the couple “taking time apart”.

Speaking of the rumours, an insider told Page Six that this is “not true” and that the suggestions are ” literally made up”.

The couple, who were married in May 2018, announced they wanted to step down as senior royals in January 2020.

The couple now live in Montecito with their two children, four-year-old Archie and two-year-old Lilibet.
