Meghan Markle doesn’t feel “wanted” in the UK and fears being “thrown back into anxiety-fuelled visit”, it has been claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, could be set to join Prince Harry on his trip to the UK for the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games.

Harry, 39, is scheduled to give a speech at a celebratory event for the Games being held at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8.

Despite rumours that she will travel with Harry, Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, two, Meghan is said to be having a “change of heart” over the trip.

Speaking to New Magazine, an insider said that Meghan is worried about being “thrown back into an anxiety-fuelled visit to England, where she feels like she’s not wanted”.

Although Harry has been listed as a guest at the event on May 8, Meghan has been marked as ‘TBC’ [To Be Confirmed].

Meghan and Harry are reportedly both expressing fears over Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s safety, as reported by the Mirror.

The insider added: “It’s now got to the point where Meghan doesn’t want to come to the UK with the children. She just doesn’t feel safe.

“The situation is now about whether the family should attend with increased security or Harry should go to it alone.”

Despite this, Harry is said to have expressed to his wife that he doesn’t fancy “keep making solo trips to the UK” and that he would like her and their children to travel with him.

The source added: “He would prefer it if the entire family made regular visits to see his family and build bridges, but there is so much going on behind the scenes that it just isn’t possible at the moment.”
