Meghan Markle branded 'Diana's cardboard cut-out' as efforts to 'smear' Princess Kate fail

Endgame was released last Tuesday and unleashed a series of explosive claims against the Firm.

Hours after hitting the shelves, the Dutch version of the book had to be taken off the shelves due to a “translation error” as it named the two royals who have allegedly raised concerns over Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s skin colour.

Scobie has repeatedly denied any responsibility and claimed the English version of the book had no names. However, questions were raised over how names and words could be added to the Dutch book if they were not there in the first place with one expert branding it “the most outrageous marketing campaign in history”.

Saskia Peeters, the Dutch translator of Endgame claimed she only translated the book from English which is “what I was paid to do”.

Now Platell questioned Scobie’s sources saying: “How did Scobie get the names of the ‘royals racists’ when they were in Meghan’s ‘private’ letter to Charles?

“Sources close to the Duchess have insisted neither she nor her entourage handed Scobie the letter. We can only speculate, therefore, how on earth he managed to get hold of it.

“Is there no end to the Sussexes’ quest for vengeance, to their endless trashing of the Royal Family?”
