After Meghan joined Harry in Germany on Tuesday, the pair made their first public appearance at the Games on September 12.

With it already being day three of the Games, the couple appeared excited as they spoke together on stage at the “Friends @ Home Event”.

Meghan took to the mic to discuss her late arrival, citing that she wanted to get their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, “settled” at home in the US before travelling overseas.

The couple also wore coordinated outfits, complementing one another as they took to the stage.

Meghan opted for a chic black dress, with Harry wearing a smart black suit.

Meghan and Harry are known to be huge dog lovers, having three of their own at home in the US.

During their time at this year’s Invictus Games, the pair made a new furry friend called Hope.

Harry held onto the puppy, who is a future assistant dog and part of the Belgian team, while Meghan held onto her toy – which features Invictus branding.

Clearly besotted, the couple stayed with Hope, who adored the attention, for a while and showered her with some love.

The couple appeared to carry on their loved-up displays by walking along hand-in-hand at any opportunity.

Meghan and Harry took to this sweet gesture when they were senior working royals, and their appearance at this year’s Invictus Games is no different.
