Meghan Markle and Prince Harry 'certain' to be coming to UK as they plan 'frequent visits'

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have no plans to return to the UK, either full-time or part-time, according to a Royal expert.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex relocated to the United States in 2020, shortly after announcing their decision to step back as senior members of the Royal Family.

It’s been suggested that Harry, 39, is eager to rejoin the Royal circle, while Meghan, 42, is reportedly hesitant. Former Royal butler Grant Harold hinted at the possibility of the Sussexes permanently returning to the UK.

However, a Hollywood insider has firmly stated that Harry and Meghan have no intention of moving back to England. Lynn Carratt from Press Box PR told the Daily Mirror: “Meghan would not be happy settling in the UK, although I’m sure Harry would enjoy spending more time in his homeland and reconnecting with his old friends.”

“Meghan struggled living in the UK before Mexgit; being part of the British monarchy was out of her comfort zone. Her popularity in America is much greater than in the UK. Public opinion of the Duchess of Sussex in Britain has fallen to an all-time low, according to a YouGov survey. Those with a negative view of Meghan made up 68 per cent, and it’s unlikely the British public would welcome them back after all the bombshell interviews.”

She went on to add: “Meghan could increase her popularity by not constantly playing in her Royal Connections, like on her and Harry’s relaunched website. To become more relatable to the British public, she could also consider toning down her use of designer labels and opting for frugal options, like Kate. Showing herself as an average working mum facing the same challenges as others would also help.”

Lynn then said that she is “certain” Meghan and Harry will start to visit the UK more often now.

“During his Good Morning America interview, Harry mentioned that he had several planned trips for the year, allowing him to visit his family in the UK as much as possible,” she noted.

Lynn finished her thoughts by saying: “I suspect Harry would like to grow his children’s relationship with King Charles. Harry has previously spoken about ensuring his children know about their British heritage and wants to ensure they understand their legacy.

And now the kids are a little bit older and easier to travel with, I am certain Archie and Lillibet will be making more frequent visits to the UK.”
