Meghan and Harry 'tracking down Hollywood enemy who sabotaged them' after recent bad news

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly looking to “track down the Hollywood enemy who sabotaged them”, particularly after their recent snub from the Emmy shortlist.

Earlier this month, it did not go unnoticed that Meghan and Harry’s docuseries failed to appear on the shortlist.

The list featured shows aired between June 2022 and May 2023, with Meghan and Harry’s Netflix docuseries falling perfectly into the bracket, with the release date in December 2022.

The series also proved a big hit with viewers, fast earning the title as Netflix’s most-streamed show.

The slight has reportedly left the couple “stinging at the rejection” and wanting to find the people in Hollywood responsible for the hate campaign launched against them.

A source recently told Heat Magazine: “The fact that they didn’t get an Emmy nod is a huge kick in the teeth.”

The insider added: “They’re convinced there’s been an orchestrated hate campaign against them on both sides of the Atlantic, and that certain people are trying to get in on the act of picking them and scoring brownies points with the British royals.”

Continuing, they said: “It makes them sick and they’re looking to weed out these people one by one.”

The source then added that Harry and Meghan want a “full request” on who “put the boot in and what on earth they’ve got to do to catch a break”.

Last month, the couple also announced the end of their lucrative deal with Spotify.

The multi-million-pound deal was signed by the couple in 2020, just a few months after their royal exit.

Over the course of the three-year deal, the Sussexes released just one project – Meghan’s dozen-episode podcast series, Archetypes.

The end of the Spotify deal seemingly confirmed that a second series of Archetypes was not in the works, with speculation over it mounting for some time.

Despite the recent blows, the couple have received some good news regarding an award nomination.

The couple’s Netflix series was nominated for Best Streaming Non-Fiction Series in the Hollywood Critics Awards just a few weeks ago.
