Max Verstappen threatens to quit Red Bull if F1 team axe Helmut Marko

Max Verstappen has stated that he ‘can’t continue’ at Red Bull, should close ally Helmut Marko lose his job. The Austrian advisor is facing an internal investigation and expects to be suspended after the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

In the aftermath of qualifying at the Saudi Arabian GP on Friday, a Motorsport.com report confirmed that Marko is the subject of an internal investigation relating to media leaks surrounding the Christian Horner situation.

While Red Bull has yet to comment publicly on the matter, Marko told Austrian broadcaster ORF that he could be suspended by the company after this weekend, making his presence at the Australian Grand Prix in two weeks doubtful.
