Man Utd trio tell Jadon Sancho how to approach Erik ten Hag fight as star 'banished'

Manchester United stars have reportedly told Jadon Sancho to give in and apologise to Erik ten Hag after being ‘banished’ from all first-team facilities. It has been claimed that Sancho has been told he cannot return to the club’s training ground until he has said sorry to the Red Devils boss.

Sancho’s unwillingness to back down from his public spat with Ten Hag has supposedly led to some of his team-mates intervening. Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw have all reportedly urged the winger to apologise.

A public row has ensued since Sancho was left out of United’s 3-1 defeat by Arsenal earlier this month. Ten Hag explained that the England outcast’s absence was due to his training performances and conduct.

Sancho was furious with his head coach for going to the media with his grievance and sensationally posted a fiery riposte on social media later that evening. Incredibly, he called Ten Hag’s claim “untrue” and only deleted the X post after a meeting with the Dutchman over a week later.

According to the Mirror, the tension has grown so difficult that Sancho has been told he cannot use any first-team facilities. It includes the state-of-the-art diner used by his senior colleagues.

Sancho has since been forced to sit alongside the club’s academy players. The report also adds that a trio of his team-mates have told him to apologise to Ten Hag in a bid to get him back into the fold.

While some of his team-mates supposedly ‘sympathise’ with Sancho’s feelings, the likes of Rashford, Maguire and Shaw have all reportedly told him to back down.

A source close to the player allegedly told the newspaper: “Jadon’s team-mates have been telling him to back down and say sorry to the boss.

“They want him to apologise. They sympathise with him and the way he feels, but recognise a line was crossed with what he posted.”

Sancho made substitute appearances in each of United’s opening three Premier League games before the defeat at Arsenal. The 23-year-old has struggled to fulfil the potential that saw United pay £73million to lure him from Borussia Dortmund in 2021.

Ten Hag bemusingly sent Sancho to train alone with coaches in Holland during the World Cup break at the end of last year. It was claimed at the time that it was done to help the former Manchester City starlet regain his form and confidence.
