Man Utd supporters tell Erik ten Hag what to do with Jadon Sancho as star exiled

Manchester United supporters have made their stance clear on the ongoing feud between Jadon Sancho and Erik ten Hag, after the boss banished his player from the first-team squad and exiled him from all Carrington facilities. The pair have gone back and forth after Ten Hag questioned Sancho’s commitment in training, which saw the former Borussia Dortmund star respond on social media.

Sancho refuted Ten Hag’s criticism and suggested that he was being made a “scapegoat”, hitting back at Ten Hag’s pointed interview which led to him being cast aside from the team. The Dutch coach has insisted that their relationship can be rebuilt if he receives an apology, but Sancho has reportedly so far failed to take him up on that offer.

Speculation has run rife over Sancho’s future, with it emerging that talks were held after the English summer transfer window closed regarding a move to Saudi Arabia that failed to materialise.

But with the player contracted to United until 2026, with a club option for a further year, it remains to be seen what the future holds – though fans have had their say.

As many as 9,437 Express Sport readers were asked what United should do with Sancho and an overwhelming majority felt that he should be permanently sold in January. After failing to back down, 62 per cent (5,851 votes) were of the opinion that the Red Devils need to cut ties with the winger.

Meanwhile, 10 per cent (943 votes) have urged the club to send Sancho out on loan for the remainder of the season, perhaps in the hope that he can regain some form and fitness while the remaining 28 per cent (2,641 votes) believe that he should be given a second chance and reintegrated back into the fold, despite no sign of his feud with Ten Hag coming to an end soon.
