Man Utd poised to 'give in' to Jadon Sancho loan as Ten Hag learns of two main suitors

Juventus are reportedly growing in confidence that Manchester United will allow Jadon Sancho to leave the club on loan. The winger was banished by Erik ten Hag earlier this season and a permanent exit from Old Trafford was viewed by all parties as the ideal resolution.

United are desperate to bolster their ranks during the January transfer window, with reinforcements required at both ends of the pitch. With Raphael Varane growing restless on the Red Devils’ bench, a centre-back is likely to arrive at Old Trafford to provide cover across the backline.

Similarly, Ten Hag is desperate to bring in another forward to provide an alternative option in the final third and potentially play alongside Rasmus Hojlund. Player sales will play a pivotal role in forking out significant fees on the aforementioned targets, with several players already in the shop window.

Sancho is among the stars expected to depart, though he may now only leave on a short-term deal. According to Calcio Mercato, Juventus are growing hopeful that United will allow the winger to leave the club on loan rather than on a permanent basis in January.

Despite United’s insistence that they want to cut ties with Sancho entirely as soon as possible, Massimiliano Allegri’s side believes that the Red Devils will ‘give in’ and strike a loan deal. Several clubs around Europe are also monitoring the 23-year-old, but Juve hope that the prospect of embarking on a new challenge in Italy will prove very persuasive.

The Old Lady are aware of other suitors and feel that a return to Borussia Dortmund would be the forward’s preferred option at this stage, and also the ‘safest’ option for Sancho to get his career back on track.
