And what Ferdinand claims employees at United’s rivals have told him should provide further optimism over the significance of Berrada switching sides.
“Just before he [co-presenter Stephen Howson] starts, I spoke to some guys who are at City, and they can’t believe we’ve [Manchester United] got him,” Ferdinand explained on his YouTube channel, FIVE.
“They think that, wow, he’s done so much in the game at different levels, and he’s been successful, and it’s a really good, sharp signing for us.”
