Man Utd and Arsenal learn chances of signing Lautaro Martinez as agent leaks conversations

Manchester United and Arsenal need to forget about signing Lautaro Martinez anytime soon if his agent’s latest comments are anything to go by. The striker appears more than happy to continue at Inter Milan for the foreseeable future.

Martinez has long been linked with a move to the Premier League. The striker moved to Europe from Racing Club in 2018 to join Inter and is closing in on 250 appearances for the Italian side.

He has scored 108 times in total, including 53 in his last two seasons. Manchester United and Arsenal are among the English clubs to have shown an interest in Martinez.

TeamTalk claimed earlier this year that the Red Devils and the Gunners were ready to battle it out with Chelsea for the 26-year-old’s signature. But Martinez stayed put beyond the summer transfer window and doesn’t look to be going anywhere soon.

Martinez’s agent, Alejandro Camano, has given an update on his future. He has dismissed any talk of a move to Saudi Arabia and claims the forward only wants to carry on at Inter.

Camano told TV Play: “Saudi Arabia is a market full of temptations, and Lautaro received many proposals but not only from there. But Whenever I tell him about these possibilities, he says ‘Inter, only Inter’.

“The affinity he shares with the fans and the club is incredible. The sense of belonging to the project and the group is important.

“Lautaro didn’t listen to any club other than Inter. He’s with the Nerazzurri now because he loves the club and the team.

“This summer the whole world talked about the possible transfer to another club, but in reality, he has decided to stay because he enjoys the tranquillity and considers Inter as his home. Lautaro is happy, he’s the captain of the team, and he is also expecting a child. So we have to work to make sure he remains happy.”
