Man rushed to hospital after being stabbed at London bus stop in broad daylight


A man was rushed to hospital today after being stabbed at a bus stop.

The victim, who is in his 30s, suffered severe hand wounds and remains in hospital after the attack in Carshalton, south London.

Emergency services were called to the bus stop at 10.03am but the man had already left the scene on a bus prior to the arrival of police.

At 10.09am, Metropolitan Police were called to reports of a man aboard a Route 151 at Wrythe Lane in Carshalton with a knife injury to the hand.

Officers believe this was the same injured man from the first call. 

Crime scenes are in place at both locations, My London reports.

The injured man was taken to a West London hospital.

No update has been given on the condition of the man.
