Man City rocked by storm as flight for Champions League clash with RB Leipzig delayed

City are not expecting any issues with the return flight from Leipzig after the match, but they will need all the quality recovery time they can get with a massive trip to Arsenal on Sunday.

Ironically, the Gunners were also delayed in their trip to France for their Champions League tie with RC Lens on Monday, facing a five-hour wait at Luton Airport. The club opted to send food to the airport for the players to eat before they made it across the Channel at around 10pm.

City, who will be able to play Rodri against Leipzig, will be without their star midfielder at the Emirates as he serves out the final match of a three-game ban for his red card against Nottingham Forest.

They face a Leipzig side who have started the season in impressive form, drawing 2-2 with Bayern Munich on Saturday with Harry Kane amongst the goals.
