Man charged with murder after boy and 23-year-old killed in triple stabbing


A triple stabbing that killed a teenager and a young man in north London has led to a 16-year-old being charged with murder.

Abel Chunda, of Highgate Hill, has been charged with two counts of murder, as well as one count of attempted murder, and possession of an offensive weapon in connection with the incident in Elthorne Road, Archway.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court later on Wednesday.

Police were called at 11.33pm last Thursday to reports of a stabbing.

15-year-old Leonardo Reid was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 23-year-old man, who has not yet been named, died in hospital.
