A man in his twenties has been arrested by police officers who have been searching for a 16-year-old girl.
Grace Fisher, from Gillingham, vanished on Friday 13. Officers say she was seen walking with a man in Chatham town centre, Kent, between 6.30pm and 6.53pm.
Officers had previously released CCTV of Grace walking along the Brompton Road area of the town at 5.45pm earlier that day. She was wearing a grey jumper, black leggings and white Nike trainers.
Now police confirmed a man has been arrested.
Detective Inspector Scott Relf, from Kent Police, said: “We are still very keen to speak to Grace to ensure she is safe and well and, if she is reading this, I urge her to get in touch with us.”
Anyone with any information about Grace’s whereabouts is asked to contact Kent Police on 999 quoting incident 13-1191.
