British drivers are facing severe two-hour delays after a horror crash on the M1 this evening. Emergency services have rushed to the scene of a serious collision on the major UK motorway.
It is not yet known whether there have been any casualties as a result of the incident.
A post on the National Highways website reads: “There are currently severe delays of two hours to normal journey times on the M1 northbound in Hertfordshire/Greater London between J2 Five Ways Corner Interchange and J5 Berrygrove Interchange (Watford A4008, Aylesbury A41).
“This is due to a serious collision involving 3 cars, closing 2 lanes (of 3) between J4 Brockley Interchange and J5. Hertfordshire Police, Fire & Rescue and London Ambulance Service have units on scene. National Highways Traffic Officers are also attending.”
