Luke Littler met 21-year-old girlfriend playing FIFA as romance blossoms

World Darts Championship sensation Luke Littler reportedly met his girlfriend while playing FIFA on Xbox. Littler has been dating Eloise Milburn for at least six weeks after being introduced online by mutual friends.

The 16-year-old has lit up Ally Pally this winter, earning the nickname ‘the Prince of the Palace’. And he has been spotted on numerous occasions alongside girlfriend Eloise.

It is claimed that the pair are avid gamers and met while playing FIFA around four months ago. Eloise, who is five years older than Littler, is also an avid darts player and competes in amateur competitions.

The pair have overcome a 200-mile distance to see their relationship blossom during the World Darts Championship. Littler is from Cheshire while Eloise is from Surrey.

The 21-year-old has been in attendance at Alexandra Palace and has been her boyfriend’s biggest fan. She posted on Instagram after Littler’s quarter-final victory over Brendan Dolan: “The dream carries on! Incredibly proud of you!”

An unnamed friend told the Daily Mail: “Eloise loves playing darts and FIFA and so does Luke and they’ve got a lot in common. They started speaking on Xbox and things just developed from there.

“She’s a great girl and is a very decent darts and FIFA player herself so you could say that they make the perfect couple because Luke is also very passionate about both things. She’s very proud of his achievements and is supporting him all the way.”

Littler is into the semi-final where he will play Rob Cross. He believes he is getting better and insists he can complete a remarkable achievement by winning the tournament.

“Unbelievable,” said Littler after beating Dolan on New Year’s Day. “I think I’ve got into the top 64 with the prize money I’ve already got but I never would have thought about getting to the semis on my debut.

“I’ve felt confident ever since the Christian Kist game when I hit the 106 and I’ve gone back-to-back tonne-plus averages, but I think it’s more about the doubles, especially in the set play.

“I would have thought I’d be playing Gezzy (Gerwyn Price) or (Gary) Anderson but it wasn’t to be. Brendan was just another opponent in my way. I’ve brushed him aside now and into the semi-finals.

“Cross came back really well today [from 4-0 down to Chris Dobey] and I don’t want to jinx it, but every game I’ve played I’ve gone two sets up or one set up. I’m good at getting off the mark quickly.”
