Klopp then explained how with Liverpool into the Carabao Cup semi-finals, having topped their Europa League group and going into Boxing Day second in the league table, their situation was “fine” and referenced their lengthy injury problems throughout the campaign.
“But it’s fine and we are where we are, no one has spoken and it’s good about our injuries,” he added. “We are missing Thiago the whole season so far and Andy Robertson, before that Diogo Jota who was in incredible shape when he got injured. We have got already plenty of players and we are here, I look in the eyes of the boys and they are ready. It’s good, it’s intense, nobody feels tired in this moment.”
