A US-Russian dual national woman has been arrested by the FSB in Russia on suspicion of treason and raising funds for the Ukrainian army.
Russia’s RSB services said they “suppressed the illegal activities” of a 33-year-old resident of Los Angeles.
The woman, whose identity has not been revealed yet, has been taken into custody.
State media outlet TASS reported that she has been accused of collecting funds for a Ukrainian organisation whose ultimate beneficiary was the Ukrainian army.
A video posted to Telegram shows her in a cream puffer jacket with a white hat pulled over her eyes as she is handcuffed and escorted by a man in military camouflage.
